About Me

Talking about myself is quite possibly one of the most unsettling topics that I have ever faced...and that's saying something considering that I'm an English major. Anyways, here's a short and sweet version of my life story. Hopefully it's painless and doesn't bore you to tears!

I grew up in Bloomfield Hills, MI, where I attended Cranbrook Kingswood from my kindergarten days all the way through graduation in 2008. Upon completing my studies at Cranbrook, I went on to earn my BA in English & Political Science at Albion College. In addition to fulfilling my academic responsibilities at Albion, I worked on campus as a peer mentor-tutor and tour guide, and helped establish Albion’s varsity lacrosse program during its inaugural season in 2010. Thankfully, I had just enough time to make countless unforgettable memories with my brothers of Delta Tau Delta.

There are quite a few things going on that fill my time at this point in time. First, I am about to begin working towards a Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) through the College of Education at Wayne State University. Teaching has been my professional goal for a good number of years and completing my MAT is another step towards achieving my career goals. When I'm not in class, my coaching duties keep me busy as I strive to prepare the JV lacrosse team at Detroit Country Day for success. Lastly, I would be erroneous if I were to not mention Duggan, the 60 pound Australian Shepherd that I've come to think of as a little brother!
